Goosecare strives to ensure that all items entrusted to our care are treated with the utmost professionalism and attention, returning to you in the best possible condition.

Definitions

Terms and Conditions: refers to this document.
Client: refers to the person or entity to whom Goosecare is providing services.
Business / Our / We: refers to Goosecare.
Website User: any person accessing www.canadagoosedrycleaninguk.co.uk/
Services: professional cleaning, restoration, and aftercare of outerwear garments provided by Goosecare in return for payment.

1. Introduction

1.1 It is the Website User’s responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions before proceeding.
1.2 By using this website or our services, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Service Standards

2.1 The Client authorises Goosecare to clean and process their Canada Goose or other outerwear items using professional methods deemed suitable by the Business.

2.2 We may use any cleaning process or treatment we consider appropriate for the item and its materials.

2.3 Any item submitted without a care label will be cleaned entirely at the Client’s risk. We will always take every reasonable precaution to ensure safety during cleaning.

2.4 We will do our best to achieve optimal results, but we cannot guarantee the complete removal of marks or stains, as some may be permanent or react adversely to treatment.

2.5 Cleaning may make wear, shine, or scuff marks more visible, particularly around cuffs, seams, and high-friction areas. This is a normal outcome of professional cleaning.

2.6 We do not inspect for pre-existing damage such as fraying seams, fabric weakness, fading, or small tears. Therefore, Goosecare cannot be held responsible for any existing damage or damage that becomes apparent after cleaning.

2.7 The Client understands that all cleaning carries a small degree of risk. While our processes are designed for delicate down and technical fabrics, Goosecare cannot be held responsible for inherent weaknesses in materials, adhesives, trims, or coatings.

2.8 Items with glued logos, emblems, or embellishments are cleaned at the Client’s risk, as adhesives may loosen during processing.

2.9 While we handle each garment with care, all services are performed on a best-effort basis, and no guarantee is given as to the final appearance or restoration outcome.

3. Compensation

3.1 In the unlikely event of loss or damage caused by our proven negligence, Goosecare will compensate the Client in line with the Fair Compensation Guidelines set by the Textile Services Association.
3.2 Proof of purchase or item valuation must be provided.
3.3 Our liability is limited to a maximum of five times the cleaning charge for the affected garment.

4. Orders and Payments

4.1 When placing an order, the Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information.
4.2 Payment is required before the release of cleaned garments.
4.3 Goosecare reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing an order for a full refund.
5.2 After 24 hours, cancellations are at Goosecare’s discretion.
5.3 Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may be subject to third-party transaction fees.

6. Collection and Delivery

6.1 The Client must ensure availability for agreed collection and delivery times.
6.2 Any uncollected items may be stored for up to 3 months, after which Goosecare reserves the right to dispose of them.
6.3 Goosecare is not responsible for garments once they have been returned or collected.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 To the extent permitted by law, Goosecare shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
7.2 Goosecare cannot be held responsible for colour fading, wear marks, or increased visibility of existing damage following cleaning.
7.3 Any cleaning is undertaken at the Client’s risk where prior issues exist.

8. Privacy

8.1 Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
